Our Approach

  • 01Designed a hybrid browsing system that lets users explore by room, material, or designer — three interconnected navigation modes that feel cohesive.
  • 02Built a custom product configurator with real-time 3D preview using WebGL, allowing customers to see materials and colours in their own space via AR.
  • 03Implemented a editorial lookbook section that blends e-commerce with content, driving 23% higher time-on-site for users who engage with it.
  • 04Optimised the checkout flow to four steps with instant payment processing, reducing cart abandonment by 18% compared to the previous site.

Challenges

  • The 3D configurator had to run smoothly on mobile devices — we spent three weeks optimising texture sizes and LODs to hit 60fps on mid-range phones.
  • Inventory data was scattered across three legacy systems. We built a middleware layer to normalise and sync inventory in near-real-time.
  • The client's editorial team wanted total flexibility in layout without touching code. We built a custom block editor in Sanity that took six iterations to get right.
